Introduction
Welcome. This is [YOUR
NAME] [YOUR CALLSIGN] and I will
be acting as the net control station for the [MONTH]
[DAY] [YEAR]
installment of SmartNet.
SmartNet is an on-air forum, the purpose of
which is to discuss matters of a scientific or technical nature,
including ham radio. All are welcome and all topics are fair game.
Note, however, that SmartNet is not an appropriate forum in which
to discuss politics, religion, or similar devisive topics, so the
group tends to steer clear of these.
Smart Net Meets reguarly on Monday evenings
from 7:30 until 8:30 MST.
SmartNet is brought to you through the courtesy
of the Eastern Arizona Amateur Radio Society (EAARS) repeater network.
Repeaters in the EAARS network include:
|
Heliograph Peak
|
146.86 and (440.700 Hub) Mhz
|
|

|

|
|
Jacks Peak New Mexico Between Lordsburg & Silver City
|
145.21 Mhz
|
|
Pinal Peak Near Globe AZ
|
145.41 Mhz
|
|

|
147.16 Mhz

A final comment before we begin check-in. SmartNet net control
duties are assumed on a volunteer basis. SmartNet usually concludes
with a call for volunteers to act as net control for the subsequent
week. Net control is fun and a good experience for any ham, so please
consider this as this session progresses.
Check-In
At this time, I would like to begin check-in.
Please provide your name, callsign, and your location.

Conclusion
of SmartNet
We are getting close to wrapping things up
for the evening, so this would be a good time to ask for volunteers
to act as next week's net controller. Any volunteers?
[IDENTIFY VOLUNTEER FOR NEXT
WEEK'S NET CONTROL]
Looks like we've reached the end of another
edition of SmartNet. I would like to extend thanks to all of
the participants this evening,
thanks to EAARS for the use of their network, and thanks to [VOLUNTEER] for agreeing to act as net control next
week.
At this time, the repeater network is returned
to normal
use. This is [YOUR NAME] [YOUR CALLSIGN],
and this concludes the [MONTH] [DAY] [YEAR] installment
of SmartNet.
